The mini-parliament at Bellagio

Since 1996, Granville has sent two or four young students (aged 12-14) accompanied by a teacher.

in 2000 (9/14 May)

We left Granville for  Bellagio on the tuesday the Ninth of May by train at  14.39.

We arrived in Paris at six; The weather was nice in Paris. and we sat for a pinic near the river Seine.

Then we took a night train for Milano. We all had  couchettes but we didn't sleep well. Then we took a wrong train but at the end we could enjoy a magnificent crossing of Como laggo, before debarking  at Bellagio.

We all stayed in families. The families were nice and friendly.

We had a sport day event : we played volley-ball and football. Every team had an Italien group with foreigners.

Girls didn't like football (especially Nathalie who had to run to avoid the ball!!!) It was fun.

Etienne

We met to discuss the theme chosen for the mini-Parliament : the statuts of the students. We wera half Italian, half foreigners. Most of it was in english and it was not easy to understand.

The last day we met with a lot of representatives from Bellagio and the region, plus groups of Italian Students. We had to read some of the works we had achieved.

It was very impressive.

We went back to Granville the day after.
