Sea Tradition

Until the beginning of the XXth century, the fishermen of Granville fished for cod in Newfoundland and for oysters in the Bay of Mont Saint Michel.
Today fishermen are still active along the coast near Granville. It remains a very important coastal fishing port.

Shipbuilding activities too

There is also a modern Yatching marina , organizing sailing regattas in Granville etc
