GPE is a great idea !

We will never be thankful enough to Henry Haffray to have put in operation in the late eighties,   André Poirier’s great and generous idea though a bit crazy.

Ten years after, thousands of citizens of the European community have met, made friends. Everlasting friendships  were born.

To you friends of the Douzelage, who are reading me from Altea, Kötzting , Sherborne   and from all Douzelage towns you must know that the modest stone   we put to the European building is the beginning of   partnership rich of hope for the future generations.

  To you, friends of the pays granvillais or from other parts of our region.
